‘The Light Between Oceans’ Movie Fundraiser – Sunday 15 January

Cape Mentelle is continuing its generous support for the Margaret River region’s environment with a Movie Fundraiser as part of their summer outdoor movie program. Screening on the evening of Sunday 15 January, CCG will host the locally set drama “The Light Between Oceans” at Cape Mentelle’s Outdoor Movie venue off Walcliffe Road.

For the third year, Cape Mentelle, with support from its staff, is donating all ticket and alcohol sales from the evening. CCG staff and volunteers will provide live music, food and a raffle with outstanding prizes donated by our supporters.

The movie is a 2016 romantic period drama film based on the 2012 novel, The Light Between Oceans by M. L. Stedman.  The film tells the story of a lighthouse keeper and his wife who rescue and adopt an infant girl adrift at sea. Years later, the couple discovers the child’s true parentage and are faced with the moral dilemma of their actions.

Members and collegues, together with family and friends, are encouraged to book tickets now for the event through the Cape Mentelle website
